- For the Strawberry Buttercream:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup pureed strawberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
- Make the Cake: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Add oil, eggs, Kahlua, and milk; beat until smooth. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
- Make the Strawberry Buttercream: In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, pureed strawberries, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; beat until smooth and fluffy.
- Assemble the Cake: Place one cake layer on a serving plate; spread with one-third of the frosting. Top with the second cake layer; spread remaining frosting over top and sides of cake.
